The schedule is posted for Monday March 29’s second round of the playoffs.  The final Monday of winter indoor will be April 5 , and the championship game will be played at 8pm. Registration for summer leagues will be posted soon after, so keep checking.

The shedule for the first week of the playoffs has been posted. All eight teams have a chance to win the season. There will be three weeks of playoffs with each weeks winning teams moving toward the championship game and all other teams playing consolation games.

Below are the teams for the 2010 Winter Indoor frisbee season with the team captains name underlined. The season will run for 13 weeks, with no breaks for any holidays. All games are played on Monday nights. There is a 7 game round robin, and the first seven games are posted. Congratulations to the Ospreys for their come from behind victory Monday night over the Whip Poor Wills. That makes The Ospreys the Fall 2009 Indoor Champions.

Winter indoor season’s first game is Monday January 11, 2010. Look on this website for the teams and schedule the week before.

If you have not registered with the O.D.S.A website, it is free, and you must do so before you can register to play. You can find the registration at the link below and, under member type, choose Ultimate Organization Club Members  ( choose age catagory depending on your age). Select  “Barrie Ultimate League” as your Ultimate  group, and fill in the remainder of the required information to register.

Fall Indoor Season

The 2009 fall indoor season has seven games remaining. As of Nov. 1/09 we still have two more weeks of scheduled round robin play . Look for an updated schedule Wednesday Nov. 11 that will include the last two games of the regular season. Don’t forget that the playoffs are three weeks, with the last night being Monday December 14/09. Every team makes the playoffs and the schedule will be posted week to week depending on the season outcome and the outcome of each game.

WINTER INDOOR REGISTRATION will be online soon. There are only 88 spots available so make sure you register early.

Please make sure that you check the schedule to see what time your team will be playing  Monday October 12. All games are on and count toward the seasons statistics. Have a great Thanksgiving.

The sports dome has been resurrected and the finals for winter indoor are back on. The schedule has been updated so look for your game time. Please tell your friends and team mates so that they don’t miss their last indoor game of the winter season.

This coming Monday, April 6, will be the last week of the winter 2009 indoor season. The championship game will be played at 6pm between Rocket Robin Hood and The Racoons. Come out and watch the game as it will be some intense frizbee. Don’t forget to check the schedule for your game time.

Winter Indoor Update

The seven game round robin is now complete. There will be three more games of regular season play, March 2, March 9, and March 16, with the top four teams and the bottom four teams competing against each other in three game round robins. After these games the final standings for the regular season will determine the match ups for the first round of the playoffs.

All eight teams make the playoffs with first playing eighth, second versus seventh, etc. After the first round of playoffs the winning teams will continue towards the championship game and all other teams will play consolation games. The playoff weeks are March 23, March 30, and the final, championship week is April 6, 2009. The schedule will be updated each week after the scores have been submitted.

Winter Indoor Schedule

There will be 13 games total, 10 regular season and 3 playoff weeks. Teams will be created by this Friday and the schedule and teams will be posted by Saturday night.

Monday January 6, 2009 is the last day to register for winter indoor frizbee. If there are spaces available after the deadline then we will accept more registrants but there is a $30.00 late fee. Congrats to Macbeth and Othello for a great final game. Macbeth ended up pulling ahead in the final minutes and winning by 2 points, but both teams played an excellent game.

Thanks to all who brought food and money donations for the food bank. We raised 37 pounds of food and $5.37 for the Barrie Food bank. The donations were greatly appreciated.

Monday December 15 is the final week of the Fall Indoor Playoffs. Othello will be playing MacBeth for the championship at 8pm. Come out and watch what is sure to be a fast paced game.

Also, this coming Monday there will be a food collection box for non perishable foods. If you would like to help those in need this holiday season, please bring canned or dry goods to the dome. Tyler, the Indoor Convenor, will be there all night with a collection box and all donations will be given to the food bank on Anne Street.

Hopefully you received the e-mail informing you that registration for winter indoor is open and you have already registered. If you haven’t registered, now is the time before the busy holiday season. Click hereto get started. Registration takes less then five minutes and is really easy.

If you are new to the league you need to follow the directions on creating a membership login, also found at the above link, before you can sign up.

Winter indoor fee is $ 130.00 for 15 games. The league has room for 120 players and we will have 10 teams playing on our usual Monday nights at the Dome. Tell your friends and family about the league and lets make sure that there are enough players to fill all of the teams rosters. The last day to register is January 6, 2009, unless there are still spots available. Signing up after Jan. 6/09 will cost an extra $ 30.00 late fee.

First game night is Monday January 12, 2009.
