Registration is now open for our second session of Juniors Ultimate. Anyone 12-18 years of age is welcome to join, whether you are new to the sport or have played before.
This program begins Mon. Feb. 22, 2010 and runs for six weeks on Monday nights from 6:00-7:00 pm at the Barrie Sports Dome. Participants will be taught how to throw and catch a disc, the simple rules of the game, and most importantly the Spirit of the Games which encourages players to self referee and play with true sportsmanship and respect. Each week will consist of a warm-up, skills, drills and a scrimmage. Players must wear indoor soccer shoes or running shoes and bring a white and dark shirt.
Register before Feb. 16th and pay only $50.00. After that, the price goes up to $60.00. Registration is a two-step process:
1. Register as an ODSA member here. It’s free! Membership type is “Ultimate Organization Club Member – under 18 years”. You must complete this form with your parent/guardian.
2. Once your membership is activated you will receive a confirmation e-mail. You can then proceed to the Barrie Junior Ultimate – Winter 2010 Indoor Rec League registration.

If you were wondering whether or not the Junior League would actually run, the answer is YES!! There is still space available for anyone who is thinking of joining, but do so soon as there are only a few days left. For those of you who have already registered please plan to arrive at 5:30 pm on Mon. Jan. 11 so that we can take attendance and you can meet the coaches. Bring a light and dark shirt, water bottle and running shoes or indoor soccer shoes. Warm-up will begin at 5:45 pm.
