Anyone 12-18 years of age will soon be able to register  for our first ever Junior Ultimate Summer League.  We hope it will be up and running by tomorrow.

There will be two clinics at the Allandale Heights P.S. Field at 6:30 pm.
* May 18  – Anyone can come and play, find out more about the sport, meet other players and have fun!
* May 25-  Teams will be made after this clinic and posted on this website.

The league will run on Tuesday nights from 6:30 -8:30 pm at the Allandale Heights P.S. Field from June 1 -  July 27, 2010.   June 1st will be an exhibition game to make sure that the teams are balanced.  Cost is $60.00 and includes an ultimate jersey.

If you are already an ODSA member, sign in and register for Barrie Junior Ultimate Summer League.

If you are new, you need to register as an ODSA member.   Membership type is “Ultimate Organization Club Member – under 18 years”.  You must complete this form with your parent/guardian.   Once your membership is activated you will receive a confirmation e-mail.  You can then proceed to the Barrie Junior Ultimate Summer League Registration.  If you look at the list on the right hand side (Calendar & Events) you will see it.

Each player will be asked to fill out a Medical Form which will be handed out at the clinics and must be returned to the coaches.

These are the things you need to bring with you each week:  a white and a dark shirt,  a water bottle ,  soccer cleats and a disc (if you have one).

Registration is now open for our second session of Juniors Ultimate. Anyone 12-18 years of age is welcome to join, whether you are new to the sport or have played before.

This program begins Mon. Feb. 22, 2010 and runs for six weeks on Monday nights from 6:00-7:00 pm at the Barrie Sports Dome. Participants will be taught how to throw and catch a disc, the simple rules of the game, and most importantly the Spirit of the Games which encourages players to self referee and play with true sportsmanship and respect. Each week will consist of a warm-up, skills, drills and a scrimmage. Players must wear indoor soccer shoes or running shoes and bring a white and dark shirt.

Register before Feb. 16th and pay only $50.00. After that, the price goes up to $60.00.   Registration is a two-step process:

1.  Register as an ODSA member here.  It’s free!  Membership type is “Ultimate Organization Club Member – under 18 years”.  You must complete this form with your parent/guardian.

2.  Once your membership is activated you will receive a confirmation e-mail.  You can then proceed to the Barrie Junior Ultimate – Winter 2010 Indoor Rec League registration.

If you were wondering whether or not the Junior League would actually run, the answer is YES!! There is still space available for anyone who is thinking of joining, but do so soon as there are only a few days left.  For those of you who have already registered please plan to arrive at 5:30 pm on Mon. Jan. 11 so that we can take attendance and you can meet the coaches. Bring a light and dark shirt, water bottle and running shoes or indoor soccer shoes. Warm-up will begin at 5:45 pm.
