For new and experienced players (12-18 years of age)!
Ultimate is a non-contact team sport combining the non-stop movement and athletic endurance of soccer and the aerial passing skills of football. Participants will be taught how to throw and catch a disc, the simple rules of the game, and most importantly the Spirit of the Game which encourages players to self referee and play with true sportsmanship and respect.
Each week will consist of a warm-up, skills, drills and a scrimmage. Players must wear indoor soccer shoes or running shoes and bring a white and dark shirt.
This program begins Mon. Jan. 11, 2010 and runs for six weeks from 6:00 – 7:00 pm at the Barrie Sports Dome.
Register before Dec. 1st and pay the special introductory price of $50.00. After Dec. 1st, cost is $60.00.
Registration is a two-step process:
1. Register as an ODSA member here. Membership type is “Ultimate Organization Club Member – under 18 yr’s”. You must complete this form with your parent.
2. Once your membership is activated you will receive a confirmation e-mail. You can then proceed to the Junior Winter League registration after signing into the site.
