Fall Indoor League

Registration is now open.

Our insurance is provided by Ontario Disc Sports Association, so all players must register with them.  If you are already an ODSA member (i.e., if you registered in the spring) you can start the league registration here.

Otherwise, you must first register for ODSA.  Start here.  You will receive a confirmation email—check your spam folder if you don’t see an email right away.  Once you’re registered and confirmed for ODSA, you can then proceed to the league registration.

The deadline for registration is Friday, September 25th (or once we’ve hit a full ten teams). You must have fully registered and paid by the deadline or you will NOT be put on a team. No excuses, no exceptions*.

Before you can register, please review the Skills Self-Assessment—you’ll need your five self-rankings to register.

GAMES Games are played Monday nights at the Sportsdome on Hamner Street, in one of five timeslots between 6:00 and 10:00 pm.
FEES The fee for Fall Indoor is $120.
PAYMENT You must pay on-line via ODSA.  They accept VISA, MasterCard, and Paypal.  (There were problems in the spring when this was first set up—those have been solved.)

TEAM MAKING At registration every player must self-assess his/her abilities. Teams are then selected by the league convener, Tyler Cochrane, with the intent of balancing gender split, speed, handling, height, and experience.
GROUP ENTRIES Barrie Ultimate does not allow complete teams to register together. We encourage players to register as individuals or couples (spouses, car-poolers, etc.), and will make sure that all couples play together.We will accept groups of up to six players. We will attempt to place the entire group on the same team, but will not guarantee this—team balance will take priority.
JERSEYS All players are expected to have a home and away (white and red) jersey.  League jerseys are superlight Patagonia Capilene 1 dri-fit shirts and cost $30.  You can pay for a jersey when you register and Ian Brown will be distributing them at the Sportsdome.
